Metro is so great! My husband and I tried it for the first time and everything was really good. The glass and silverware were all polished and pristine, the cocktails so delicious, the food incredible and the staff was very friendly! The even offered to whip up something custom for our 25 month old son. We will definitely be back and recommending Metro to our friends... I can't wait for it to be nice enough to enjoy the rooftop!

My friends and I decided to try this place out and I'm happy we did! The place has been re-done where it provides comfort and a good vibe. Drinks and food were done well-would definitely come back again. Our server's name was Paige and she was fantastic!!

George G.

Have eaten both lunch and dinner here and they were very good. Food not only looks great it tastes marvelous. Very nice employees with great service. I will go back often

Robyn B.

We had a group happy hour here for work and the food was amazing! The space is fun an inviting. Would definitely recommend the onion rings and ribs!

Great customer service, great food, drinks were reasonably priced, had a piece of this amazing chocolate that they make. Comfortable seating, the owner is nice. Overall this was one of my better experiences at a restaurant here in town.

Exceptional Service and Yummy Food. I hosted a social event for 30+ people last night at Metro and we had a wonderful experience. The manager Jason was terrific to work with in advance as I planned the menu. Very accommodating and things went very smooth. Waitress and bartender provided top level service. The eggplant bruschetta was so delicious that I can't wait to go back for it! It is not your typically college bar - is has a great atmosphere, good wine list, and great beers on draft!

First time visit sharing surprisingly seasoned, very tasty meal with traveling friends on a recommendation & glad our time together was at Metro! Casual family friendly vibe with service quick to respond, sometimes without asking. Clean bathrooms & kitchen, friendly, professional staff along with smart floor layout has this former waitress & culinary arts program designer impressed :)
Well done Metro! May your vision be enjoyed by many & thrive~ if ya haven't had the pleasure, go check out Metro with friend(s) or a good book.

This is a great place to dine! Very nice classic ambiance. Everyone that works there is very nice and friendly. Food and drinks are great. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to have good food and drinks!

Nice place to grab some drinks and food. Loved the metro fries. Staff is friendly and give good suggestions.

I haven't experienced a place or food like this in a long time. The food is awesome and I love the layout of the restaurant. If you want to sit at a table or just chill on couch and have drink this place can accommodate, it is a comfortable place. The manager Jason and staff are wonderful and the chef Vincent makes the food taste amazing and you almost literally lick your plate it is that good.

Love this place! Fancy cocktails, worth the price. Everything I've tried on the menu, also fantastic.

Eleonora G.

Exceptional restaurant creating an entirely new outlook on the Fort Collins food and drink scene. The service is fantastic with friendly servers who always have a smile on their face. The drinks are hand crafted and the food is all made from scratch. Absolutely delicious little joint! Will be back for more.

Wonderful experience BOTH times we have been in for dinner and brunch! Friendly, awesome staff, great service, fun atmosphere and DELICIOUS food. I'm pretty picky, so the fact that they nailed brunch and dinner is impressive. Love this place!

Kalia G.

Best chicken and waffles I've ever had, amazing brunch experience with bottomless mimosas. Great service, fantastic atmosphere.

Shannon B.

Delicious appetizers, burgers and gotta try the best brussel sprouts, popcorn, dessert AND drinks!! Love love and can't wait for the warmer weather and rooftop experience. Jason's great too!

We ate at Metro yesterday evening. What a find! Love the quiet yet public atmosphere. We could actually talk while eating and not fight the music and other table talks. This is upscale dining in a very interesting space. Large tabletops, booths, tables for two, a couch in the corner, or sit at the bar. It is a very interesting decor and somehow was not noisy, even as other patrons were coming in. Hilton is using a similar concept with it's new Tru hotel chain. Open yet cozy and chic so people can visit.
The food was amazing. We opted for the Great Plates special menu. The Grilled Spanish Octopus with Spanish chorizo, potato, romesco sauce, green olive tapenade was one of the best dishes I have had in Fort Collins in the four years we have lived here. Our friends had the Braised Short Rib with rosemary and chive polenta, gremolata, house demi, and my husband and I had the pan-seared Tofu with asparagus pesto, wild mushrooms, butternut squash, wild greens and finished with the Italian of Budino. We were very excited to have an almost vegan dish that was more than a slab of cauliflower. Each dish was artfully presented and had all five components of sweet, sour, savory, salty, a wee bitter and umami as well as textural differences. We never went to The Boot and I understand the decor is quite a transformation. We were a little hesitant because we thought the atmosphere might be loud and targeted to college students but the reviews were all great. I hope Metro keeps doing what it is doing in regards to the menu. Hats off to the chef.
I'm sure parking can be a concern but honestly, walk a bit. If you love Locality and Door 222, you will love Metro even more!
I DO recommend Metro!

Blown away by the amazing transformation of the location. Superb ambiance with upscale appreal, yet a casual flair. Like the available couch seating if I feel like gathering for apps with friends for HH. And the upstairs deck for summer seating.

We came for the brunch and weren't disappointed. Famous Chef Vince Vigil's presentation of both the Avacado toast and Chicken and waffles was true art on a plate.

Checked out all their menus. The new owners have done their homework in putting a great variety of awesome selections on their various menus. I met Chef Vince and he is as amazing in person as he is s food. Willing to make all his customers comfortable and happy in the restaurant.

Can't wait to go back and try dinner. Check out the photo attached of the amazing plating of the chicken and waffles.

Great addition to the Happy Hour spots in Old town.
I learned about this place just open from Yelp, so I definitely bookmarked it. Got a team together and went check it out. Turned out everyone loved it and had a great experience. We were there during the weekday so it was very slow there which was a good thing for first time testing the drinks/food.

Food - what we ordered were delicious and well prepared. I liked all the creative fusion ideas they have on their menu. Very unique from the other places.

I liked the eggplant Bruschetta the most (I don't remember the exact name of the dish). Whatever was mixed in that eggplants was excellent. Very tasty and went well with the toast. The texture was soft and just melted in my mouth. Yummy! The Parmesan popcorns were different but yummy as well. Another dish was the Tofu plate. The Tofus were browned well but recommend to eat with the side stuff on the plate (see pic) as the tofu itself was kinda bland. Also, the Brussel sprouts salad was great especially with figs and their special dressing. I think this place is a very good option for vegetarians as well.

Drinks- The Pink Lady was my most favorite for the night. Got some spicy kick there. The other drinks were very refreshing and tasty as well.

Service- Good, we got what we needed but it was a slow night so they were probably not fully staffed. They came checking on us from time to time.

This place is very spacious. They have a seating area right in front of the entrance, huge space on the main floor, and the roof top.

Parking is a bit less convincing to go there as the location isn't near any garages so on street parking is needed. Biking there is a good idea.

Will go back again. Check it out and enjoy!

Still awesome but wanted to give them some extra love after trying their entrees! My husband and I went in and received speedy and friendly service. We ordered drinks and grilled caesar salads followed by tofu with farro risotto and grilled steak with veggies and a potato cake. Everything was delicious with a gorgeous presentation. And I am really looking forward to dining here in rooftop patio weather!

This place is incredible. Amazing chef, management and staff. All around experience was one of the best I have had in a while and for sure the best of Fort Collins. Started with burrata that was so good we wanted to order another. Not sure if a menu staple, but should be. Don't miss out. Followed with their 3 course special of octopus and chorizo with a variety of purées and tapenade. Spanish flair with great flavors. Then shared two main courses. Fried chicken plate was one of the best I have had. The short rib with rosemary polenta was a special but should be full time...heavenly. Chef and management took time to speak with us in detail about dishes and made us feel at home. Go to this place, you won't be disappointed.

Great reasturant and atmosphere! We had some friend in town and all love food so decided to try Metro. The staff were great very friendly and attentive. We had a variety of food for apps had the mushroom app, the peppers, and onion rings all were GREAT! Then for dinner had a variety the lamb, fried chicken, steak, and tofu. We were all beyond pleased with our meals. Had brussel sprout and kale salad the brussel sprouts are a must!! Drinks are good as well and fresh. Definitely will be back and hope for good weather to check out the rooftop.

I selfishly almost didn't want to post an amazing review for fear of this great spot catching on even more! Brunch was amazing. We had bottomless mimosas, which were superb. So many places advertise bottomless but don't deliver. The Metro service is great and they definitely will refill your glass many times! My friend also had a Bloody Mary which she was not initially a fan of. They made her a new one, no questions asked and it was fabulous! I had the chicken and waffles, absolutely divine. Perfect medley of salty and sweet. My friends also had the brunch fries and the Metro Benedict which they said were delicious! At the end of our meal, they gave us some "Metrobark" made in house and so tasty. Nothing like finishing up your mimosas with some chocolate! Service, food and atmosphere were all great. Can't wait for warmer weather and that rooftop!
Seriously, skip the lines in Old Town and head to Metro, you will be glad you did.

The lemon ricotta toast was absolutely incredible. I would come back just for that. Ambience is great and value is good for such thoughtful cuisine.

Beautiful atmosphere. Terrific customer service. Phenomenal food. I had the pleasure of sampling multiple things on the menu. Brussel sprouts, metro popcorn, arancini, metro fries, and the metro burger. All absurdly fantastic. I highly suggest stopping by for a bite and a drink. The bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable. 10/10 will be back.

Kristi M.

Amazing drinks, delicious and size ale portions and kick-ass ambience. Pur bar-tender/server went out of her way to make things great. Don't miss this place

We tried Metro for the first time last night. The dining area is a mix of traditional tables, high tables with padded chairs, some comfy couches, and a bar. I thought it was cool that you could pick your seating based on the type of socializing you are planning on doing. Drinks and a few small appetizers with friends... couches are perfect. They had some Louie Armstrong playing softly and some old movies rolling on a couple of screens which was a neat touch. We were greeted immediately with water and menus and then revisited in the perfect amount of time for drink orders. The service was perfect all night with a multi-server approach. We were having cocktails and an appetizer before deciding on dinner and we never felt rushed from enjoying our drink and appetizer but someone always seemed to be there when we wanted something else. Def 5-star service. We had the fry appetizer which was tasty. My only complaint about the entire experience was that they were just warm, not nearly hot, when they came out and I, like most, prefer piping hot fries. They were tasty and I loved all the flavors they combined on them. For dinner, my husband had the salmon and he loved it. I had the fried chicken (to complete my night of fried foods) and it was really yummy. The boneless chicken was fried with an amazing crisp crust and servd over mashed potatoes and greens. The dish was topped with fresh greens that had a really tasty light dressing on them. I absolutely loved the dish. I was thankful we had walked to dinner because I needed the walk after all of that food. Our cocktails were good too. I apologize for no photos, we were having such a nice time I didn't think about pulling my phone out but presentation of our food was beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Jake was our server/bar tender. His knowledge of their menu was extensive. And he recommended some great appetizers. Since we're first timers. We were not disappointed with anything we've ordered. Chef Vince has an amazing way of pairing the steak tartare with these decadent purees, asian pork wings had a nice surprising aerated light hint of blue cheese, crispy brussel sprouts. And lastly ..the lamb shank literally fell off the bone. Though we couldn't finish. We're happy to have left overs. A hidden gem. We're definitely be back!! Thanks Jake, chef Vince and staff of Metro! We'll check out your bottomless mimosas.

Olivia J.

Excellent brunch on Sunday. The food was really delecious and bottomless Mimosa were nice too. Great Ambience!!

Naman S.

Incredible staff and management. Food and drinks were delicious! Love everything about this place!

Great food, drinks and service. Onion rings are awesome!! And I don't really care for onion rings lol.

Anthony H.

This place had amazing flavors! They are in a super prime location and I hope they get to open their rooftop without a hitch. There's a ton of ambition behind the employees/owners and I hope this place can go far. The cocktails were made amazingly and service was prompt enough. I only have a couple of complaints... 1. There was an abundance of garlic for me and even my wife who loves garlic. 2. My grilled octopus was overcooked but, the flavors on the plate were so good I didn't care. 3. Remember that you're a new restaurant and you have a good team behind you. It takes time to make gold into a ring. Sometimes all you need is to take a deep breath, regroup and do the best you can.

Benjamin C.

Wonderful place! The food is amazing and the people that work here are equally amazing. Affordable for college students to hang out that want a good cocktail or beer, especially their happy hour! Ask for Jake at the bar! He's a sweetheart!

Alexandra E.

Exceptional food and service. We will be back!

The food is profound. Large portions with magnificent presentation. Good vibes, relaxed atmosphere. Prompt food and very friendly service and accommodations. 10/10 would recommend. Low key place to dine. One of the best meals we have ever had.
